Companion plant cerastium: A durable organic way to control evaporation
The prolific cerastium (Cerastium biebersteinii) is a virtually indestructible and rapid growing perennial, that tolerates the worst of conditions. It even dares to display a carpet of white flowers in the most challenging of soils. Cerastium provides a thick layer of shade for growing mediums in the hottest and most marginal of environments. The silvery grey leaves should be pruned often to curb its invasive habit. The leaves provide plenty of green mulch and compost fodder.
Like all plants, cannabis enjoys a diverse growing environment. Including cerastium as part of your companion planting game plan will enrich the overall interactive complexity of your marijuana garden.
