Originally released as a special edition for the 2010 Cannabis Cup, Blackwater is a first-generation cross of Mendo Purps and SFV OG Kush F3 (male). Named after a classic song, this strain was bred with one goal in mind: to create one of the darkest purple OG Kush hybrids ever seen.

With a flowering time of 8–9 weeks, Blackwater expresses the best of both worlds, deep purple hues from the Mendo Purps and potent OG structure and resin production from the SFV lineage. The result is a visually stunning, terpene-rich cultivar with rich Kush flavours and a powerful, relaxing effect.
