The Lineage of GHB
The Mother: G4D is a cross of Gorilla Glue #4 and Chem D, created by CSI:Humboldt. The plant I selected as the mother was dank, with an earthy, fuel, and chemmy profile. She was incredibly sticky, a real grinder killer.
The Father: Slayer’s paternal genes come from Karma Genetics’ Headbanger, a beloved cross of Sour Diesel (Karma’s cut) and Biker Kush. The male used in this project has been tested in other hybrids and tends to pass on a lot of incredible flavour, with long-lasting mouth coating. It tends to pass down a pillowy smoke of grapefruit and fuel.
How It Grows
GHB hasn’t been stabilized, so this release is for those looking for a hunt. As such, phenotypes vary. Some are strong with lots of branching and big yields, while others are more squat and require some staking.
It runs about 70 to 80 days, depending on the cut – but take her into that 70+ day range, and you’ll be rewarded with stronger Chem D profiles.
Some cuts within the testers were better than others, but the winners are absolutely worth the hunt if you’re after a unique, deep, dank profile rarely found in today’s modern weed.
How GHB Smokes
Similar to its dank, funky aroma, the smoke offers much of the same experience. Dense clouds of funk, with some citrus-leaning plants from the Headbanger side. Effects come on quickly and last a long time on most of the plants.
