Pistachio is a flavour-forward indica hybrid with tall, sturdy growth and a loud, nutty fuel aroma that leans into creamy pistachio ice cream. Bred from Fortune Cookies and P-61, it improves on classic Cookies genetics with heavier yields and a thick layer of trichomes. Flowering wraps up in about 65 days. Pistachio is a 65% indica Bx2 hybrid strain bred from Fortune Cookies and P-61. Pistachio has an impressive, pungently nutty/fuel nose with some pistachio ice cream notes. Growth habits are similar to the Cookies family, but with an improvement in both trichome production and yields.
Expect tall upright growth with strong stems and require less training than might be expected. Pistachio is a mould-resistant strain, suited for autumnal maturation outdoors, as well as doing well indoors. Light deprivation by dropping light hours gradually when transitioning into flower is beneficial in terms of results.
Flowering times are in the region of 65 days.
