Frosted Apricots clearly carries Slurricane’s influence in its build and bag appeal, but with its own twist. The flowers stack up into chunky, resin-loaded buds that look as if they’ve been rolled in sugar, thanks to an exceptionally heavy trichome coat. Calyxes swell hard and round, often flushing with rich purples that can range from subtle violet flecks to nearly full-purple plants, contrasted by bright orange pistils. The frame is sturdy and architectural: thick, supportive stalks, strong lateral branching, and sensible internode spacing that lets light penetrate while still forming dense, weighty colas. Many phenos will stretch to the taller side of medium, giving the plant a commanding presence in the room.
Beyond looks, Frosted Apricots leans into its Irene Apricot parentage with loud, jammy stone-fruit terps, like apricot jam and sweet juice layered over hints of grape and a gassy, kerosene edge from the Slurricane side. This makes it a potent choice for hash and rosin work, where the intense frost and sticky resin really shine. Expect a hybrid effect profile: typically an upbeat, euphoric onset that can taper into a more relaxed, body-forward calm, often better suited to experienced users given its potential potency. Flowering usually wraps in about 8–10 weeks, with medium-to-high yields when given enough root space, support, and good humidity management late in flower.
